Nope.

Okay, I know I said I love big kitties.

Let me re-phrase that. I love big kitties... when they're behind glass or behind bars. I do not love them up close and personal, thankyouverymuch.

Yesterday's newspaper announced that a mountain lion had been spotted in the gully next to the softball field of one of the city parks. And unlike the last mountain lion I saw, this one was very much alive.

That park is right along one of the routes I've been known to walk.

I don't believe I'll be walking that route again any time soon.

I think I'll go do my walking down at the mall....

*sympathy* I grew up in a cougar relocation area.
Cats really are wonderfully effective killers, aren't they?

I love big....oh, it's 'K'itties. Never mind.
mountain Lion, Schmountain Lion. Try getting hunted by Coyotes, or battling rattle snakes in defense of a favorite dog. How about Scorpions sashaying across the living room carpet?
One can see a mountain Lion and avoid them. Besides, if you want to walk there, just carry a large cheap steak (top round) in a bag and fling it before running like heck. there are more things to be afraid of at DM Center than Lions, Beach.
BTW, D and I celebrated 28 years of marriage last Saturday!
