Too Good Not To Share

Some of you know I work as a medical transcriptionist. There is speech recognition technology involved in this job, or as we often call it, "speech wreck," with good reason.

The speech wreck engine just now gave me "California."

What the dictator actually said was "schizophrenia."

Discuss among yourselves. I have to get back to work.

It's amazing what those speech wreck programs come up with. Schizophrenia and California sound nothing alike. And now... how about "plugged testicles" instead of "drug regimen?" I think that was eScription's crowning achievement!

Well, it WAS an ESL dictator.... A while back I got a wound that was draining "Jell-o exudate."
